Hi fellow chicken lovers!!!! :jumpy:jumpy

There's so much info out there and I just cant find what I'm looking for. I believe one of my ladies has gone broody again, just 8 weeks after her first hatching. I tend to be a let nature take it's course sort of person but we're intervening on that course. I want to make sure it's safe for her to be broody again so soon.

Your input is appreciated!! :woot

It depends how much weight she lost the first time and how much she regained. Getting your hands on her and feeling what her body condition is will be a good idea. Also check for external parasites which also can get out of control on a broody hen. Your hen needs the reserves to set again or else she will break on her own.

Thanks, she is in good overall health. I'll continue to monitor her health. She's a cranky broody so I tend to let her be and make sure she has her favorite snacks nearby.
