Broody Hen question

Hello! I have a Broody hen that seemed quite annoyed with me sneaking some fertilized eggs under her. She scooted over one nest box for the night... but the next day she got with the program.

My question is, how long are the fertilized eggs viable when not being incubated or kept warm under a hen?

** I have since gone off the deep end and ordered 2 dozen fertilized eggs incase my 5 that I snuck under a foster mama (my broody hen) were unattended for too long to hatch... I may have quite the clutch of babies running around...

The first five eggs should be fine as long as she stays devoted from now on. Yes, you may have quite the squad of little chicks running around, lol.
