Ok I have a hen that is broody. My question is every day she is switching nest boxes after the other hens lay. I tried to move her to be by herself but as soon as I moved her off the eggs she ran back in and started breaking them. Should I just take the eggs from the other box and place them in front of her? I dont get alot of eggs a day as I only have 8 hens that are laying. I gathered the ones tha she was sitting on yesterday but am wondering if these are still ok to eat. Im in Michigan and the temps where I am have only been in the 50's the last couple of days. Thanks for the help.

IMO, I would keep collecting eggs until she commits to a nesting box.
My broodies park their butt in a compartment and go back to the same one even if they take a break to eat & drink. And they won't get off even if another hen climbs in there with them.
