Broody hen raising ducklings

I have a young hen who went broody (first time sitting) and was sitting every day on the clutch of eggs in a specific nest. One week when I found warm eggs from my Muscovy's I put them under her, and found two more the next week. So she sat happily on 4 Muscovy eggs. One wasn't viable, but she was determined to hatch those eggs - she sat for 36 or more weeks (counting the couple of weeks she was just sitting before I found the eggs), she now has three little Muscovy ducklings and she is a good little mother. I have had to build a feeding station because she is in a little pen by herself, she digs very well to try to feed the babies, but she was constantly upending their food dish and caking the water with dirt.

I do have a questions, how long should I leave the ducklings with her before introducing them to the duck pen?

I’m hoping you meant 36 days for the Muscovy ducklings to hatch. 36 weeks is an awful long time for a hen to sit.

I would let her raise the ducklings until they get their feathers in.
