I just moved my first broody hen to my broody box.... Now when she started brooding, I took out all her eggs and gave her three eggs due to my lack of need for additional chicks. Today when I moved her she had seven. DOH!! I am thinking that when miss broody went on her five minute bathroom breaks, another hen would come along and add an egg.... so now I have seven eggs in different stages of development (seven days in now) and a pissy hen who isn't so sure about the move.
