Broody hen? Slept on the nest box all night got up? Is she broody?

So yesterday at about 1pm I discovered Amelia sitting in the nest box I thought nothing of it. Later she was still there! She slept in the nest box all night long! Then got up 7:15 this morning. It’s now 8:27 and she still hasn’t gone back. Do you think she’s broody?

She also had a little clutch of eggs under her one was probably hers the other eggs were from different chickens

Does she make any "broody" sound? Is she more puffy today? She might be thinking of brooding, but is not quite there. Or, she just might like sleeping in the nest box

She hasn’t slept in the nest box since she was like 13 weeks old she’s now probably 20 something weeks old. She has always puffed up and growled when anyone came near her when she was laying an egg. She did look a little more puffy today

Some birds just decide to sleep in the nest box for no apparent reason. The puffing and growling while laying an egg is something many birds do, but it doesn't have anything to do with brooding. Keep an eye on her is what I'll say. It seems like you don't have a broody, yet
