broody hen that will not sit on eggs

i have a broody hen that sits on eggs at night but not doing the day. i know she is broody by the way she acts and sounds but will not sit on the eggs during the day
what to do

She is not truly broody. She may actually not be broody at all and just refer to sleep in a nest.

X 2 - sounds like a hen who likes to sleep in the nest box, not a broody hen.

well as far as i can tell she was in the nest all day

and now i may have one more going broody too
if so that will be 3 broody hens in the coop
now my ? is what happens when a broody hen leaves the nest to do what they do and they return to the nest to find a hen in there nest box
sorry all new to me
