I have an almost year old cochin bantam hen that’s currently inside because she had bumblefoot. That was over a month ago, however she’s still inside because the flock won’t let her re-integrate. She went broody on non-fertilized eggs.

I gave her some eggs, she hatched a Guinea this morning. Now the Guinea is gone, I assumed my cat got it but I cleared the room of all the pets and sat and listened and let out the momma hen so she could look too. She had just drank a good bit of water. She threw up on the floor and a translucent white skinny worm was in it, about 1.5-2 inches long. I felt her crop to see if she had possibly eaten the Guinea, it felt squishy like there was still water in it. And then she pooped dark green/brown almost black liquid poop, no worms in that. She has lost weight but only since she went broody, shes still a pretty decent weight. Eating mealworms when I offer them, not too keen on her food. Figured cause she’s broody. Any advice welcome. I’m really worried. She’s still pretty active.

:frow Welcome from New Orleans. Have you had a vet do a fecal float test to check her for worms? Just because you don't see them in her poo doesn't mean she doesn't have worms.
Place your hen in a cage and place the cage in the coop or run with the other birds. Let it there for a week or two. They will be able to see each other but not touch or peck each other. This is a reliable method of reintroducing birds back into the flock if they have had to be separated.
I would find out about the worms and take care of any problem, before I tried to reintroduce her into the flock.
