Broody hen what to do

Im not sure but i think light brahmas have more black on their tails if im right?! plus feathers on their feet!

Looks exactely like the brahma but not as much feathers going down the lega

She's a beautiful Light Sussex! They're rare in the US so most of us don't see them nearly as often as some of the other columbian patterned breeds (like Brahmas or Wyandottes).

Ya im in ireland thanks for clearing that up ....... I wonder why she has such a fluffy bum compared to the other light sussex that have a normal looking bum

Sorey last thing the day i thought she was broody i put an 2 eggs beside her and she tucked them in under her whats the story hen experts

If she tucked the eggs under then she either is already or is currently going broody! Congrats you have a mommy to be on your hands!

I was away today but i she wasnt sitting when i let them out this evening and she is also the only hen laying in the nestbox with the golfballs

Please god she'll go broody soon ..... I got two 12 week old white silkies last week so im sure theyll go broody at some stage
