Broody hen with baby chick and bullying

Hello everyone, I had a young hen go broody and she was sitting on four eggs. Only one hatched and she’s being a great momma. This is my first time with a broody hen and I’ve only had chickens for about 10 months. I put baby and momma in a large dog crate in the coop for the first week and then a neighbor told me to let momma and baby out with the rest of the flock. Well... that didn’t go great. My rooster and one hen Sofia are not bothered and seem interested and accepting of the baby. Two other hens chase and attack both momma and baby. Of course I put momma and baby back in the coop, but now I’m being told to put them (mean girls) in chicken jail. I wasn’t even sure what that was but now I realize I’ve had momma and baby in chicken jail. I’m so confused... who should be in chicken jail?

Put the attacking birds in the jail, and leave them there several days. Let the broody hen and chick get established with the calmer birds,

Agrees.
....and make some hiding places for the chick.
The broody will have to reestablish herself in the pecking order,
no getting around that.

Thank you so much for your answers. So while in chicken jail, they can see all the others - they just don’t have direct physical access, correct?

My small flock is doing great today with the two meanies in chicken jail. Thank you for the help.

My flocks are relley aggressive toward momma and her chicks. A few month back I convert this shipping crate into a hutch or coop for keeping momma and her chicks out of the flocks and off the floor.
