Hi everyone,

I have a young pullet about less than 6 months old. She is sitting on 7 eggs since Friday (6 days ago). Since two days ago, she cannot walk properly like before. Maybe it is due to malnutrition?
she was quite well before sitting on the eggs. I have sprayed her for mite and lice even.

Any help?

Does she come out of the coop?
Is she thin?
Can you post pics of both legs and feet?
Is she being picked on?
How long has she sat?
Have you provided food in the nest box?
Yes, dear. She comes out only once a day. Now I don't have pics and I am not at home; but tomorrow I will.
No, she is alone in the small coop. Today is sixth day since she first sat on the eggs.
I have provided feed and water as well.

Well, it's natural for a chicken to come out once a day when broody. Okay, well she may have bumblefoot. I won't be able to tell without pics and does she eat and drink? Have you watched her eat?

Thank you dear, I pray that it is only a tumblefoot. I will hopefully post some pics tomorrow. I saw her eat a lot when she came out yesterday but didn't see her drink, yet previous days she ate and drank normally.

I am afraid of Marek's disease :(
Can you post some photos of her? A video of her might be helpful as well - upload to youtube, then provide us a link.

What breed is your pullet? Has she ever laid any eggs?
Are the eggs that she is sitting on fertile? If they are, do you have an incubator or another broody you can put those in/under?

If she is sick, then she needs to be tended to, so personally I would not let her continue to sit. She needs to be hydrated several times a day and you need to make sure she is eating well.

I am sorry dear, I could not record a video since it was night and she came out only for 2 minutes. Now, she seems healthy, she is better in walking.
I don't really know which breed she is. She is typical Kurdish breed which is very good.
Yes, she started laying in late December 2018, and yes the eggs are hers and another pullet's I have, the eggs are fertile because I only have 2 pullets and one young beautiful healthy cockerel, but I don't have incubator unfortunately. She only leaves the eggs once in a day for only few minutes. I pray that she stays healthy. I am afraid of the poopy eggs under her though :(
