Well the title says it! My Silkie has gone Broody for the first time (or I think that's what's up)!

I bought some fertile hatching eggs since there's no cockerel in with her and put them in her coop, but she didn't sit on them, I have tried picking her up and putting her on them and pushing them under her. Each time she pushes them away or gets up and sits somewhere else!? I collect their eggs daily so it's not like she's just choosing to sit on her own , as there is none under her?

Please help, I've spent lots of $$ on these cuckoo silkie eggs!

I'd see if you can borrow/buy an incubator.

Sorry, but it sounds like she's not really broody or the the very least hasn't settled into it yet. Is it possible that she could be sick instead of broody? Being she's a silky and they have such an awesome broody rep. it would be easy to make that mistake.
