Two weeks ago my hen went broody. She two eggs and I took both not wanting her to hatch any. I tried putting her in water, locked her out of the coop for two days only let her in at night.
Is it too late to try the wire bottom cage? Any other suggestions? I really don't want her hatching eggs and I thought taking them away would do the trick. Those were also the only two she had laid in two weeks.

I will do that! I wasn't sure if it was something that needed to be done when you first notice them going broody
The sooner you break them that way the quicker they break. Some that have been broody a long time may require up to 7 days. I break mine as soon as I notice, and most are broke in 3 days. They will resume laying quicker too when broken early.
