ok so i have some experience with chickens none with quail and i dont have either but i have a question. so on the quail forum didnt get much help a bit but not much so... If you had a broody hen would they take care of baby hatched quail or other birds. (manly quail) i have heard of them taking care of ducks and geese but would they take care of quail. And would the hen teach the newly hatched quail to go back to the coop? i know this is the wrong forum just thought people with chickens might be able to help. Thanks.
Cochin bantams go broody all the time. They are small and I believe they would take care of baby quail.
