So I have a broody hen sitting on eggs but I noticed her "sister" also added eggs. I have no clue when the eggs are due. What should I do? How long should I let her sit on the eggs? What should I expect? Also both hens sit on the eggs and take turns but only 1 is the main sitter. Please help. I'd love to raise baby chickens but I am clueless. Yes both have been around roos as I got 9 chicks last spring and were all supposed to be hen but only 2 were.

How did the clutch turn out? I had my first broody hen this spring too. I was so nervous about what to do. Here they are with mama. I only had one broody hen so I don’t know about them sharing. I hope it turned out great! Post pictures

Unfortunately none survived. But bought eggs and incubating them now as she is sitting on more eggs. Congrats on your babies.
