Broody hen!!!

My 5-month old speckled sussex hen has been sitting on her egg from about 9:30 this morning until now.(1:40) i don't really want to have to move her from her nest box, but we have one other hen who hasn't layed today and i want her to have a turn as well. whenever i open up the top of the cage she puffs herself up and gets noisy so i don't want to stress her out or anything though. please help!!!

When the second hen needs to lay, she'll probably just cram herself in with the first one or find an alternate spot to lay.

I've seen a few of my hens stacked up like wood in the nest box even though there are plenty of other boxes available.
