I have a broody hen that is sitting on eggs that are due tuesday and i was wondering weather i should take her out of the pen and put her somewhere else or if i should just leave her?

Leave her there! Mama knows whats best for the babies

I agree too, but......Sometimes there will be a cranky chicken that really doesn't like youngsters and she/he will try to hurt them. Mamma hen will do her best to protect them but she can't be everywhere at once.

If it were me I'd leave them unless I knew I had a mean one in the coop and I'd still try to be around and observe the first day or so after hatch to make sure there weren't any problems.

Good luck with your broody, that's so exciting!!!

If you are worried about their safety, you can move them. But wait till AFTER the hatch. If you move the hen now, she might leave the nest.

Wouldn't want that!

Hope you have a great hatch. Broody hens are awesome!
