One of my buff orpington hens just started laying eggs this week.... and she already went broody after only laying two eggs!!!
well she went broody on her eggs along with 22 other eggs... surprisingly she covers all but 2!!!! wow she is going to be a lil busy if they all hatch...
Chicks should be a cross between
A) EE rooster X white legghorns
B) EE roo X buff orpingtons
I have a nother rooster but he hasnt been in the coop with the hens for almost a month due to him fighting...
Oh did i mention i have 40 chicks in the brooder and 20 eggs in the bator due to hatch any day... and a nother hen sitting on a few eggs.... she is out of my reach so not sure how many eggs... GAHHHH!
PS. she was separated from other hens until chicks hatch then she will be put back with the flock
