my light sussex has been broody for about a little over a month now. have tried to break her twice and failed so my question is if i give her some eggs to hatch and then take the chicks will that break her brood? i dont have a setup where she can raise the chicks or i would let her. i have eggs in the incubator due to hatch next week so i was thinking if hatching some would break the brood i would let her but if not does anyone have any ideas on what else i could do to break her? i have placed her in a cage with out bedding that is raised off the groundabout 4 inches so she couldnt warm up her bum, but its been in the 90's lately so i guess thats why it didnt work?
