Broody Hens-How I Know Spring Is Here

So last night I went out to check that my girls had put themselves to bed, cause we were expecting rain. My hen, Comet, was sitting in a nesting box, and she had been in the same one last time I went out. She's still there this morning, so I guess I better prepare the nursing hoime. Last time she went broody, she ended up with twenty eggs under her. She currently has seven, and I'm going to limit it to eight. Last time she went broody, her two sisters went broody too, and they raised 16 chicks together. I'm just waiting for Tufty and Blitzen to go nuts too.
