Broody Hens or Incubators and Brooder

Which is better for the chicks? Will chicks gain natural instincts like going broody by being raised by a broody?

What I was told is if you let your broody sit have bator ready just incase she goes off the nest. Also you need to take her out from the others. That is what you will read every where. I had one and let her sit on the nest and she lost both of them early she would not sit well on them. I would think it would be better if they are just pet or "farm stock". If they are for show then I would say bator. I hope someone can give you better info. for you.
