I think the chicken god forgot to tell my silkies and Cochin that it's still winter and too cold for babies. 3 of my 4 silkies are taking turns going broody and there is no rooster with them so their just hoping lol and my standard Cochin has just gone broody 2 days ago. So I guess my broody buster is going to be active again as I really don't want chicks till spring. Lol. Just ranting

Yeah it's getting to be that time of year. I have had bantams broody in the dead of winter too. Good idea to wait, though I'm eager too to get on with spring and new chicks.

Me too. I ordered some chicks for April and just my luck I won't have any broodies lol. How's your knee doing?

It is now my good knee, though I poked myself in the muscle above the knee yesterday trying to move a branch and now it's swollen a bit. I'm my own worst enemy. Now I need the other one done, maybe next fall. Thank you for asking.
