Broody hens

I think the chicken god forgot to tell my silkies and Cochin that it's still winter and too cold for babies. 3 of my 4 silkies are taking turns going broody and there is no rooster with them so their just hoping lol and my standard Cochin has just gone broody 2 days ago. So I guess my broody buster is going to be active again as I really don't want chicks till spring. Lol. Just ranting
 
Yeah it's getting to be that time of year. I have had bantams broody in the dead of winter too. Good idea to wait, though I'm eager too to get on with spring and new chicks.
 
It is now my good knee, though I poked myself in the muscle above the knee yesterday trying to move a branch and now it's swollen a bit. I'm my own worst enemy. Now I need the other one done, maybe next fall. Thank you for asking.
