Broody Hens?

I have three hens who have begun plucking out their chest feathers. I find feathers in the nesting boxes all arranged. The thing is, none of the three are sitting on eggs or acting like they want to sit on eggs. I’ve left eggs in the box to collect for a few days, nothing. I take eggs, they don’t care. I’m DYING for somebody to sit on eggs over here. What can I do?
