Broody hens

I have 2 hens sitting on the same nest at the same time. Is this normal and should I let them be?

If they are both happy, then yes leave them be. They are co-hatching, they will share the responsibility of the eggs and the chicks. Are you going to let them hatch out?

Yes I am! I also have another hen sitting on another nest as well! There is no telling how many chicks I will have!!

What are the 2 of them sitting on?

One is sitting on 7 eggs and the other sitting on 6 eggs.

Its good taht you have 2 mother because you can let them free range because whats better for chicks then to have 2 mothers watching over them!

There are 3 hens and they take turns one will go up and one will come down for a while. It's so funny and neat at the same time. They have a rotation going on.
