Broody keeps pooping on the eggs

I've got a first time broody silkie pullet. She keeps pooping in her nest. I put 6 eggs under her 2 weeks ago, and I've already chucked two of them that were literally covered in poop. The other two silkies who brooded out chicks always got off her eggs to poo. Very frustrating!!!

I have had 5 broody's, their eggs were disgusting, and guess what, cute little fluff balls still came out perfectly. Mother Nature is amazing. Just go with the flow (uh, pardon the pun)
Some hens are cleaner then others, some are not.

Well heck. Now I wish I hadn't thrown them away. I thought I read somewhere that if they got poo on them they weren't viable. These eggs were caked with poo. Guess I should've kept those ones just to see if they'd hatch.

Gotta love broodies and their poop.

My broody pooped on her nest too, she absolutely WILL NOT get off her nest. I guess that's a good thing, but ever since I found the poop I've decided to take her out for a walk every couple of days. I've been doing this with her for about a week now and she hasn't pooped in her nest again. I really don't think she would get off the nest on her own, she's in this deep comma/hypnotic like state. Even when I take her off the nest she doesn't move at all for about 5 minutes, then she kinda realizes where she is, half snaps out of her trance and slowly starts to move, eat, drink.... After about 15 minutes she's ready to go back to the nest.

I just had my first broody sit and she did not poop on her eggs, actually I dont think she pooped at all they entire time she was sitting because after the chicks hatched and we moved them out to the nursery and she got off the chicks she imediatly pooped the BIGGEST SMELLIEST chicken pooped ever! lol I know she pooped at some point but I know she didnt for the 24hrs they were in my house poor thing.
