Peach has never been the smartest chicken in the coop, but 2 days ago she went broody so I gave her 6 eggs. This morning she got off the nest to frantically run around for about 15 minutes then back to the coop. Well...she decided to sit on the golf balls I forgot to remove in the nest beside her eggs, and has probable been there all day. It's about 23c here today. Any chance those eggs might still hatch if I give them back to her...or just start with a new batch (and remove all golf balls! Lol)

There is a good chance that they could still be viable,I've seen good hatches under similar circumstances. You could wait and candle in a few days to be sure. I usually give my hens practice eggs for a few days as this tends to happen early on as they are settling in. Then when there is no doubt that they are serious i switch the eggs out with my preference. Good luck!
