Hi everyone!
I have a little broody japanese hen she has the babies she hatched and an extra lonely chick from the incubator on hatch day. I am trying incorporate two little campines to save on room. So far she isn't paying them much mind until they kind of hide in the corner then she notices them and will give them a little peck, so far no injuries. I am watching them closely (they are in the house) Is this a terrible idea? It's been about an hour and no one is hurt, I think once they learn to follow along with the crowd they will be okay.

Yea they will kill a chick that isn't theirs, well some will...someone told me to put a baby under the mama at night and it gets her scent on it and she is more likely to accept it? Im not sure if it's true but it kinda makes sense
