Broody momma hatched chicks, do I separate them?

A sixth egg started to zip, but when I went out to check on them this evening momma was off the nest with her chicks. I put them back in the nest, does it have a chance of surviving? It’s cold today, maybe 50 degrees.

Or HC.
I used CW and a chick got its head stuck.
Went with the HC(2' high) after that, also wanted to use HC to keep growing bedding levels in.

I’ve been considering this myself. I have chain link dog run wrapped outside with HC. I’m figuring that chicks could get caught behind the large chain link holes. I hate the idea of a layer of HC inside as well!

He didn’t make it! So sorry little green egg baby.
