Broody Muscovy!

I'm so excited. My first Muscovy finally settled down on her clutch of 14 for good yesterday! I can't wait to have babies!

yay! Did you count 35 days? When is that? Must be nice to know that Momma Duck will take care of all that!

wow- I am perfectly capable of counting...but, since you felt the need to be rude- Connie and I attempted to hatch muscovy duck eggs together last year, and the wait was SOOOOOOOOO LoNG and the end result was SO disappointing and the WAIT WAS SO RIDICULOUS, that we used each other for moral support.

So, really- it was a comment for HER and NOT for you, which is why SHE will understand it, and YOU didn't. see?

I think it was all just a missunderstanding,happens sometimes....
I am hoping one or 2 of my muscovy hens go broody....

Should be right around the 20th of April. But I'm not thinking of it, I'm not going to keep track I'm letting Mama handle it!! I can't even think about it, really, well except for when I open the coop in the morning, close it at night and check on the chickens in the middle of the day. Other than that I don't think about it at all!
