Thank you everyone for your replies!
I am so sorry that it has been so long since I have been on. We had a major storm on Friday, and our Wi-Fi has been down ever since.

UPDATES:
Ember is doing great! I didn’t see any lice or mites, but I will do a more thorough inspection once it dries out a bit. She is still on the eggs, and it is day 8, so I will be candling them tonight.

Goldilocks has been such a faithful mamma, and she is doing great!
I have had the privilege of seeing 3 chicks so far, but have been hearing much more chirping than can come from only 3 chicks!
I’ve got pictures of two different ones…
And will update once I’ve got more.

Hey y’all,
Found this this morning:

All right, I have a confession to make. I went out this morning, and did something forbidden….
I pulled Goldilocks off of her nest to see how many eggs have hatched,(I’m considering giving her some more chicks, so I needed to know how many she already had). There are six little peepers. One is acting a little bit strange, moving around slowly and close to the ground. But she is not fully dry, so she’s probably just a new hatch. Mamma isn’t refusing it though, so she probably would know if it’s going to make it or not.

Here is Shirley, Goodness and Mercy watching the chicks hatch.

I ended up buying a box of 7 chicks.
And she took every one of them. Goldilocks is now a proud mama of 13 chicks. I went to Tractor Supply when her chicks were about 2 days old, so now all the members of her miniature flock are just about the same age.

Goldilocks chicks are growing up too fast. Here they are after a breakfast excursion this morning:

See that log behind them? Chooks LOVE it!!!
One morning I came out, and every single one of them was lined up on it!

Goldilocks has done very well so far, and is a great mama!
