I got a broody hen siting on 8 eggs right now, hatch day was on 3rd of June which was 3 days ago, what day do I remove her from the eggs, so that I can bin them. 25 day or 26 day ?

She is very happily nesting on the 8 eggs waiting for them to hatch.

I would definitely toss them out on day 25. If you candle them and see any blood rings and you could just get rid of them now and maybe replace new ones for her.

Did you candle the eggs during development and are you sure of the length of incubation? If there is nothing by day 25, I would toss them.

No I didn't candle them, I left them to my broody to sort out, which she did by removing 4 eggs out of 12 that where infertile.

Yes I am sure on length of incubation, as I worked out the hatch day when I put the 12 eggs in the nest, count started at day 0, which was 12 May and hatch day (day 21) was on 3rd of June

Agree, candle them.
With this crazy weather, I've had several hens go 4-5 weeks on eggs.

Yes I do have a candle that works on main powder, but it mean removing she from the nest, which she wont like, one bit.

The weather where I live has been very hot for two or three days.

she started with 12 eggs and eat 3 of them and I binned one of them. She is nesting on the first hatch of this year. The second hatch, now has 3 chicks out of 12 of my own eggs. Both hatches where only 3 days apart.

I'd go ahead and inspect them, too.

Yes when I go bin them later in this week, I'll use gravity to inspect the eggs

Here is a photo of my setup, this photo was taken 3 days before I setup the second broody box, which is next to this first broody box right now.
