Broody Not Getting Off

Yes, it has been only three days, but so far, I've only seen something that might not have been poop, and she hopped right back on her nest when she figured out where she was again. I have to admire her dedication, but I can't have Buffy, a big favorite, be counter-productive doing what her breed (Buff Orpington) does best. Also, she isn't quite a year old yet; is that normal?

What should I feed her? Do I need to put her on starter chick feed, or is layer feed fine?
