Broody off and on

How long can a broody stay off the clutch before they go bad? It is 89 degrees outside right now.

She gets off in the morning to go eat and drink. Goes back. Gets off and meanders around. Goes back. Another broody seems to take her shifts but sometimes they both get off.

Any advice?

i have had the same problem and now the just stayed off them
now they are hatching with no hens on them out of 7 eggs 4 have hatched i guess it has been so hot here they are still growing
