Broody Old lady

I just wonder if it's bad for the eggs if a hen sits on them all the time.
With no rooster, the eggs are not going to hatch.
But my 7 yo Brahma, who hasn't laid for quite a while, loves to sit on the eggs the youngsters have laid. She never did that when she was laying, never went broody.

It's warm & getting hot here, so I'm hoping the eggs don't go bad under her. I'm gon

Sorry - as I was saying - I'm gone during the day, sometimes after dark. She will have sat on them most of the day.
Bad enough she blocks the favorite nest box.
Any ideas?

If you pick daily the eggs will be fine.
