Broody on layer pellets, what do her chicks eat?

If you let the hen hatch eggs, and she is eating layer pellets, then how do you feed the chicks the medicated starter and make sure mom isn't eating it too?

The hen can have the medicated feed since she will not be laying she does not have to have the extra calcium in the layer feed. When she is no longer acting like a mother hen you can switch her back to the pellets. Jean
