Broody only hatched 1 chick

I had a broody on about 8 eggs. Yesterday on day 22 only one hatched. How long will she sit on the rest waiting on them to hatch? I thought about getting more for her to sit on because we were hoping for more EEs.

I just wasn't sure if I had time to get any and make the swap before she moved out of her broodiness.

She will only stay another day or two and may still hatch eggs. She really shouldn't sit on eggs for another 21 days because it is not good for her health wise. She needs time to recover. Also, she will get up in a day or 2 so that she can take care of her chick.

I was originally going to take the chicks she hatched and place in a brooder but kinda felt bad since she only had the one. It has stayed with her so far but I was wondering if I got a few more, would she accept them almost a week later? I can't get more until around Monday or Tues. Thank you for your reply.

put the chick into a brooder. let the hen hatch the rest of the 8 eggs. not sure if its a good idea to put new eggs under her at this point.
