Broody or sick?

I guess she wasn't broody enough. I put her in the new set up and it freaked her out. Broke her broodiness.

How long did you leave her in there?
When I move them they can take half the day or more to settle back down.
Did you have a good nest set up with fake eggs?
I made this portable floor nest for broodies,
well actually I made it for pullets when I used to keep them separate:

She was actually sitting on a clutch of 8. One of hers, and 7 from the other chickens. So it was probably bound to fail. We have a rooster so the eggs are likely all fertilized. Or were! But it’s alright. It’s still pretty cold here in Oklahoma. She didn’t sit on the eggs last night after moving her. She had been on them for 3 days. I had tried moving her and she had gone back to the nesting box to sit on them. I think moving her to the little set up I put together was just too much.
