Hi,
3 days ago my peahen went broody and she is sitting on a clutch of 13 eggs(too much) there is not a chance that she will get chicks out of all those eggs as i've heard that their eggs do not remain viable for a long time. So I was wondering that in the coming days I should sneak in her nest and candle the eggs and remove non chicky eggs or should I leave them as they are?
I am looking for your opinion on this matter and on what day should I candle the eggs if I have to remove the non chicky eggs?

I would wait until she has been on the eggs at least 10 to 14 days before candling. That way you will know for sure if there are live chicks inside. I did this to my peahen last year and none of the eggs were good. So I took them all. She gave up being broody as soon as her eggs were gone.

Thanks I was also thinking on this.
