6pm - I put 7 fertilized eggs under my broody and moved her into a separate pen.
Next morning - 8am : She is still happily sitting on them
Afternoon - 6:30pm : She was found back in her original coop sitting on the empty nest. I put the fertilized eggs back under her. However, I will need to eventually move her again. The nest is a few feet off of the ground and used by other chickens.
My question:
I have no idea how long she stopped sitting on her eggs. A few hours? Possibly 10 hours? Because it is the first day, will it matter? Should I buy new fertilized eggs?
