I have a pullet ~ FIESTY little Leghorn/Welsummer cross she has been laying pullet size eggs for about 3 to 3.5 weeks and she is getting really possessive of all the eggs laid by the other hens . . . How can you stop this broodiness? . . . we have no rooster and I need no more chickens, I am at capacity.

Thank you! I will try that, I have recently caught her picking feathers from the other hens and am now finding the one nesting box lined with feathers, most appear to be her white ones, so I have been removing them and replacing with shavings or straw.

How long should I keep her confined?
