Broody Question...

My broody has been sitting on five eggs that were due this weekend and probably today. I believe that only one has hatched. She is still sitting on the other eggs though as if she knows something else is happening under there. Will she decide on her own that she is done sitting? In other words, I should just let her be until she gets up off the nest on her own, right?

Ok, that is what I thought. I saw the chick out from under mom eating this morning, so I think she is still doing a great job with him despite sitting on the eggs. I have the food and water close enough that she can reach it without getting up.
