Broody question

Was wondering if a Hen has an internal clock for being broody I have a hen that has just gone broody again/and was wondering if I put eggs that are due to hatch in 3 days if she will just go along with the program or ignore them & try to stay broody?

I had hens that would NEVER leave their nest. I'm thinking she'll go along with it because everytime we took the eggs under our hens they stopped be broody and understood they couldn't hatch them.

little follow up did not work she stopped being broody lost 1 egg but saved 4.
