So i went to look for eggs in the hay i put in there little house usuualy they bolt out of the house as soon as i open the door but this time one stayed i went to nudge her to get her out she got up then puffed up and put her wings out and then attacked me.then a few minutes later i opened the house and three where in there and all three of them atacked me and puffed up,so whats going on are they broody?

If them girls are sittin on eggs, then I would say yes, definitely broody! I have been chased, attacked and bitten by some of the girls when they are protecting their eggs. I have never had quail stay broody long enough to hatch any eggs, but they get that way sometimes and will bite!

okay thanks

It Could Be Normal Teritorial Behavior. If They Arent Actively Purched On Eggs This Is The Most Likely Cause
