Broody quit on us, eggs moving, help!

No. To be honest, to me, it looks as though momma had pecked at the outside shell. It looks red??

At hatch, the eggs should have a rather largeish air cell, and I can barely make out one in the pics. It could be the pics or just the way it's being held, or the strength of the light, but I would expect larger air cells this close to hatch. They should be "drawn down" and very apparent.

She was horrible, she kept kicking the eggs and rolling them, stomping them and then she attacked the chicks. The break in the egg is internal, I run my finger over it and it's smooth. I saw air cells when I candled. Hopefully it's just bad pictures. I really think I saw movement in the one without the break. At least these two don't smell. That gives me hope. Thanks so much for all your help!

Oh and the egg I saw fluttering in is the one I candled upside down, you can see the air cell at the bottom...

Both the chicks died. :( Thanks for all the help everyone! I feel so bad :(

So sorry to hear

Thanks everyone!
So sorry to hear :(

I'm sorry to hear that too.

I did the best I could. I moved them to food and water every hour for two days... I tried my hardest. I hope maybe I can help chicks in the future with the knowledge I gained from this. I am hoping for the eggs in the incubator. They get another day before I give up on them... thanks again everyone!
