I have 32 eggs in the bator and a hen setting on 12 eggs, all due 4/28. When the chicks hatch, I'll be selling them to the local feedstore. I was going to let the broody hatch these, but recently saw a post about somebody using a broody hen, thus giving the newborn chicks lice. How likely is this? I know some of my chickens have a mild lice issue, but I haven't yet gotten around to treating them...

Sooooo..... What should I do? Do I move the eggs to the bator, so that they won't get lice? Or should I leave them with her? I could add cedar shavings to the bedding, will that get rid of any lice in that area? What about Sevin Dust? Any other ideas? I do NOT want to sell the feedstore lice-infested chicks. Thanks for your help, ya'll are so helpful...
