Broody silkie mixed batch (round two)

In post #19 the hatchling at the bottom of picture # 1&2 whom I had *thought* I saw a slight wabble to the walk…. Was seemingly still getting around without any issue but, when I went out this evening to top off food, water & collect eggs…. Found that one dead & laying on the floor, in the corner of their area of the coop.

Dang it. Well I saved a few tail feathers.

What kinda combs those EOE's have? If those are pea pretty sure the first is male, maybe #3 but the comb is hard to make out. Flappy Solo that's their name now is definitely a male.

And as an update “Solo” is a full fledged cockerel as of today…. Was strutting and has started his 1st halfhearted caw’s….. he has been very nice if a bit skittish all along.

I’ll try to sneak a pic of him strutting. “Han Solo?”
