I had the same problem with my silkie kicking out her eggs. I originally had her sitting in a very large back end of a rabbit hutch with some sawdust. After her first hatch resulted poorly (2 chicks out of 8 eggs) I made sure she used a different nest. I used a 1ft by 1ft nest that was 1ft tall (Im sure you could go slightly smaller/larger) and made a bowl for the eggs out straw, so the eggs couldnt get kicked out. This kept all the eggs under her, as she should be able to fit around 6-8 large fowl eggs. (much better hatch 5 chicks, out of 6 eggs)
Also, try to keep eggs not over 2-3 days apart, as the chicks will not hatch in a close enough time period, and she will get of the nest, destroying some of the hatch.
