Broody Silkie

My white silkie just hatched some chicks

Is it too cold for them out in the weather or not ????? the chicks are silkies too.

But yes mama hen is the best, just be sure she is the only one with the chick in a brooding area. Roosters will peck it to death, thats why I took mine from mama.

I have My roosters are mean anyway so i took her away from the flock when she went broody
