Hello everyone! I have a broody that was so determined and just wouldn't break that I decided to let her sit on some eggs. We have never let a broody sit on eggs. We have hatched using an incubator. She is an OEGB. So I only put 4 eggs under her as they were pretty big eggs from our other girls. Well today is day 11. I went to candle and one is is definite no so I removed it. It was a white egg and super easy to see it was just a yoke floating. Two of the other eggs are a darker green egg and hard to tell although I'm 90% sure there is nothing in those as well but I'm going to give them a few more days before I remove them BUT I have one egg that is definitely developing and dancing is happy self all over its so cool to see she has done so well in helping keep it the right temp. Yes I understand it's still early and anything can happen and I really hope it makes it all the way and does well.
Anyway my question is.....will she be ok with just one baby? Will the baby be ok not having any other babies to cuddle/play with? I know it's too late to try and add more eggs to her in hopes another would be fertile.

Our flock is a pet flock with the bonus of the eggs for eating.
